A family-owned business spun from a Boulder restaurant in the space formerly occupied by Trillium.
Aloy Modern Thai, a younger sibling to Boulder's more traditional Aloy Thai, opened its doors at 2135 Larimer Street. The casual eatery set in the former Trillium space is owned by sistersBo Bean and Arisa Chanchokpong. The duo, who grew up in Bangkok’s Chinatown neighborhood and immigrated to Colorado 10 years ago, have branched out to Denver after helping their mother with the launch of Aloy Thai in Boulder. That original Aloy is now nearly a decade old and focuses mostly on old family recipes.
